We’re committed to helping our amazing clients deliver their goals, break records and win championships. We’re currently looking for a Head Performance Chef to help us with this as we grow over 2021.
This role is a unique opportunity to join a multidisciplinary consultancy, who have a rich heritage of working with leading organisations and individuals in elite sport - including Arsenal FC, England Football, France Football (2018 World Cup winners), Chelsea FC (2020-21 Champions League winners) and Team GB Olympic teams and athletes. Not only can you make a meaningful difference to our clients' likes, and work with some of our lovely team (Soraya, Andy, Ollie, Hannah, Terri and James).

As a Head Performance Chef, your focus is on building the right infrastructure to support our clients. Your work will be a mix of working alongside our in-house SENR registered nutritionists, creating delicious recipes according to our performance principles, sourcing ingredients, cooking meals for our clients, alongside looking at ways to improve our offering.
In the next 12 months you’ll:
Work as a Head Performance Chef alongside our performance nutritionists
Line manage 1-2 sous chefs
Work on hiring and growing our chef service
Support our clients in achieving their ambitious performance goals for the year by preparing dishes according to our performance nutrition specifications
Play an active role in our performance nutrition consultancy, sharing knowledge and encouraging good culinary practice
Implement health and safety (HACCP) procedures within the kitchen environment
Build a culture and environment that is friendly and inclusive
For this role we specifically need someone with an interest in health and wellbeing, based in the Greater London area.
You have worked to at least sous chef level (to a minimum of 2 years)
You have an NVQ or equivalent Level 2
You’ll be from a background where you have some knowledge in sports nutrition/nutrition to support athletic performance and a willingness to learn
You are comfortable working independently, and with remote team members, with excellent organisational and time management skills
You have experience cooking a variety of healthy dishes from different cultural backgrounds
You demonstrate integrity and expertise, both towards our clients and our team
You must be able to maintain discretion and confidentiality and must have an Enhanced DBS Certificate
Outside of that, we would also like you to have the following:
You are a car driver, with a full clean driving licence
You have a Level 3, Food Hygiene certificate
