INTRA was founded by James Collins with the mission of providing best-practice solutions across different performance sectors. As a company, we value innovation and work closely with a team of sports science and medicine associates, each leaders within their field.
James is recognised as a leading performance nutrition advisor. He has worked with Team GB athletes over three successful Olympic Games, including London 2012. He joined Arsenal FC in 2010, where he spent seven seasons as the club’s first Head of Nutrition. He has worked with England Football, France Football (2018 World Cup winners), Chelsea FC and UEFA, as part of the steering committee to develop the UEFA Expert Group Statement on Nutrition.
He was previously elected President of the Royal Society of Medicine’s Food and Health Forum and he has his own private practice in Harley Street, where he sees elite athletes, headline musicians and business executives.
James regularly collaborates with the media and is columnist for The Telegraph, consultant BBC’s Good Food brand, and supported the 2018 Sport Relief challenge.
He is a registered Sport and Exercise Nutritionist (SENr) and author of the acclaimed book The Energy Plan (Penguin Random House) which focuses on the key principles of fuelling for peak performance.
Andreas Kasper is the Head of Football Services at INTRA Performance Group, working as performance nutritionist at Chelsea Football Club and managing the football nutrition clinic.
He has worked at the highest level of elite professional sport since 2014 and is also currently performance nutritionist at Fulham FC. He has also worked with Everton FC, Blackburn Rovers FC and Derby County FC, with extensive experience of working within different performance teams and with international players.
Alongside the roles within football, Andreas' team sport expertise extends to rugby, where he has worked with both the national England Rugby Union (RFU) and League (RFL) sides, most notably winning multiple junior World Cup's, and reaching the senior World Cup final, respectively.
Andreas is currently completing his PhD in Cellular and Molecular Physiology at Liverpool John Moores University and regularly publishes and reviews scientific research for peer reviewed journals, including The International Journal for Sport & Exercise Nutrition, Sports Medicine and The European Journal of Sports Science. He is a registered Sport and Exercise Nutritionist (SENr).
Soraya is Head of Operations at INTRA Performance Group. Soraya has consulted for INTRA since 2018, playing a pivotal role across our commercial strategy across sport, entertainment and corporate sectors. Similar to her clients, Soraya is an impressive playmaker with a truly global vision.
Soraya has led business development and client relationships across Europe, at large organisations and venture capital-backed startups. Her clients included brands such as Ford, MoneySavingExpert.com and Lloyds Banking Group in addition to several FTSE 100 companies. Soraya also lived in Prague, Czechia whilst working for the British Council.
Soraya is vice-chair of the Governing Board at Charlton Manor Primary School. Soraya holds a Masters in Business (Marketing) from Warwick Business School, a Top 20 Business School globally.
Dr. Terri Paulson
Terri is INTRA's Performance Nutrition Consultant, leading our Golf and multi-sport clinic. Terri has worked at the highest level of elite professional sport for a decade. She is a Senior Performance nutritionist at the English Institute of Sport (EIS) and works with England Netball, British Canoeing and Short Track Speed Skating, supporting multiple major International medallists, most notably, the England Roses Commonwealth Games gold medal (2018) and European and World STSS gold medals (2017).
Terri is Paralympic Nutrition Lead at the EIS and the ParalympicsGB Preparation Camp Nutritionist for Tokyo 2020. She has previously supported athletes in a broad range of sports including Professional Golf, British Triathlon, British Athletics, GB Fencing, GB Archery, England and Wales Cricket and Professional Rugby and Rugby League.
Terri holds a PhD and Masters in Sport and Exercise Nutrition from Loughborough University and regularly publishes and reviews scientific research for international scientific journals. Terri also has a special interest in female athlete health and nutrition. She is a registered Sport and Exercise Nutritionist (SENr).
Hannah is Intra Performance Group's Elite Football Consultant. Hannah has worked with a range of elite athletes since 2014. She is currently the Lead Nutritionist at Tottenham Hotspur Football Club, where she has supported the team throughout the last 4 years, including the Champions League final in 2019. Hannah has developed the Nutrition Department at Spurs, which now incorporates 2 full time Nutritionists within the First team and an Academy Nutritionist.
Previously, Hannah was the Lead Nutritionist at the High-Performance Centre, Birmingham. She worked with a range of elite athletes competing at international level, spanning a variety of sports, including athletics, hockey, women’s football and swimming. Whilst at the High-Performance Centre, Hannah collaborated with other high-performance practitioners to complete case study research including the effect of nitrate supplementation on elite endurance athletes during an altitude camp.
Hannah has written for various sports magazines, including Athletics Weekly, where she shared practical nutrition information. She is currently writing a review paper on supplements for female soccer players and contributing to nutrition chapters within new editions of football specific books, which should be published later this year. Hannah is a registered Sport & Exercise Nutritionist (SENr).
Ollie is a Performance Nutrition Consultant at INTRA Performance Group, working at Chelsea Football Club, leading performance nutrition services for the Academy. Alongside this, Ollie also works as a performance nutritionist at the English Institute of Sport where he provides performance nutrition services to England Squash, working with many elite squash players who compete on the Professional Squash Association World Tour. He is a registered Sport and Exercise Nutritionist (SENr).
Ollie is also completing a PhD at Sheffield Hallam University in collaboration with the English Institute of Sport and England Squash, titled Nutritional Considerations for Elite Squash Players. His research aims to create specific nutritional guidelines for elite squash players, through quantifying the energy expenditures and sweat sodium rates of players. Ollie has recently had his first study published assessing the nutrition knowledge of elite squash players in the Journal of the International Society of Sports Nutrition. He also works as an associate lecturer at Sheffield Hallam University on the BSc and MSc Sport and Exercise Science courses.
Outside of performance nutrition, Ollie enjoys running and spending time with friends and family.
Callum Brewerton is INTRA Performance Group’s Social Media Executive, managing our digital presence on Instagram (@IntraFootball).
Previously, Callum has worked in various performance teams through his work as a Performance Nutrition Intern at Loughborough Sport and Sport Science Intern at AFC Bournemouth, spending time with both the First Team and the Under 21s. His work with Loughborough Sport spanned a variety of sports, including football, cricket, and hockey. He has also worked with a variety of clients on improving health and fitness during his work as a Personal Trainer.
Callum is currently completing his BSc. in Sport and Exercise Science at Loughborough University.
